Introducing our cough relief tea. Made with powerful expectorant herbs like Elecampane root, and Mullein that help loosen phlegm, so it can be coughed up more easily. This tea can help remove phlegm and mucus from respiratory passages, reduces inflammation to make breathing easier, and helps prevents bacterial growth that can lead to sickness.

Ingredients:

Elecampane Root, Mullein, Thyme, Eucalyptus, Lemonbalm, Licorice Root

Directions:

1. Add about 4 cups of water to a pot with 1-2 TBSP of tea.
2. Bring to a light boil, then let the herbs simmer with the lid on for about 20 min.
3. Strain and enjoy!

Elecampagne:

In addition to its expectorant qualities, Elecampane soothes the irritation and inflammation that results from coughing, whilst also acting as a cough suppressant. This antitussive action is thought to be a result of another active compound, alatolactone, found in the root of this herb.

Eucalyptus:

Is a decongestant, helping to reduce mucous production. In turn, this can ease many of the secondary symptoms of colds, such as coughs and headaches.

Licorice Root

Is an effective expectorant, helping to loosen and expel mucus that the cough is trying to eliminate. Its soothing demulcent, anti-inflammatory properties can bring fast relief for sore throat.

Thyme

Removes phlegm and mucus from respiratory passages, reduces inflammation to make breathing easier, and prevents bacterial growth that can lead to sickness.

Lemon balm

Contains eugenol, which calms muscle spasms, numbs tissues, and kills bacteria.

Lemon balm also has alsontimicrobial, antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, and antiviral properties.
